And then that Russian will get killed by a Ukranian who didn't want to be there. Then when the war is over everyone will ask the big question, "why did these soldiers do this!? Why did they all die so pointlessly!?" And politicians will sip tea and place flowers at the base of great big stone monuments built to honor the men they sent to their unwillingly deaths. Monuments to human sacrifice, slaughtered for profit, for power, so that they could add a few more zeros to their bank accounts, another floor to their mansions, another chapter in their megalomaniacal memoirs. Then when those politicians die they will be remembered as great men, because the number of men they killed was so high - "he killed 1,000,000 people you know," school children will say. "That's nothing, this guy killed twice as many!" And so the battle for the high score of humans killed will continue for another generation.
