The criminal's accomplice took the elderly man's motorcycle and fled, while the 17-year-old criminal got on the motorcycle used to commit the robbery. However, upon leaving the scene, the criminal suffered a sudden illness and fell off the motorcycle. The Mobile Emergency Care Service (SAMU) was called but upon arriving at the scene they found the young man dead.
The police were called and found that the criminal had not suffered any injuries that could have caused his death. The most likely cause is a sudden illness, but the police will investigate the causes of the crime.
The motorcycle used in the robbery belonged to a relative of the criminal. He was apprehended and taken to the police station.
The case was registered in the 11th Police District of São Paulo.
