I love David Cronenberg. Videodrome is one of my all time faves. I was looking forward to this one, have yet to see it.
Hope his son picked up some of his father's talents.
Iv only see three of Dave C. films, The fly, Scanners and eXistenZ. His son seems to have definitly picked up his sci-fi/horror style.
The film itself is really well shot, but i think was just too tired and not in the right frame of mind to take it in.
Interested to know what u think.

Arteholic. 2017.

A doco featuring Udo Kier going thru and talking to artists and curators of gallerys.
Strange doco which has some 'odd' parts that are between his very casual chats with people he knows. It doesn't really go too deep, at all, even thou he'd met Robert Mapplethorpe and Andy Warhol.

3 Iron. 2004. South Korea.

A young bloke who breaks into peoples houses while they are away meets a woman whose a victim of domestic abuse.
Interesting drama in which the two main actors are silent for the whole film, random other characters make up the dialouge scenes.
The film has a plot which is driven by the circumstances that the two people find themselves in. Going from house to house they eventually get caught.
A simple film that wasn't too layered and showed with not alot of dialouge there is the possiblity of a good film.

Rewatching a lot of my favorites on my new display I picked up, "I saw the devil" is a visual masterpiece that rollercoasters from extremely unsettling to edge of your seat action to laugh out loud humor. I highly reccomend this film, MV5BZjRmNjc5MTYtYjc3My00ZjNiLTg4YjUtMTQ0ZTFkZmMxMDUzXkEyXkFqcGdeQXVyNDY5MTUyNjU@._V1_.webp
