A successful car plant worker goes home for a holiday.
Slow but funny film at the start with the enthusiastic Nino wanting to show his wife and two daughters where he grew up. Being only from the city and going to a dusty little town is a shock for them.
It slowly changes to a more serious tone when he reunites with the local mob boss and is asked to 'favour'. Most of the second half of the film deals with the 'family' and the favour they want. The main character is still cheerful but its watching the people around him become less cheerful and that gives the film is dark edge.

Last Man on Earth (based on the same book as Omega Man (shit movie) and I Am Legend (good movie but sad when the puppy dies)) with Vincent Price. For a 60’s schlock horror flick mostly not bad but the ending sucked.

Cops and reporters try to figure out who the zodiac killer is.
A crime procedural that is based on real events by dir. David Fincher. The times at the bottom of the screen help keep the pacing steady and it never deviates from the central plot. The actors were great but it was the overal story and the way it was filmed that keep me interested. Iv seen a few of Dave F. films so this didn't feel like much of detour.

Based a book by reporters it tells the story of a young bloke who becomes friends with the son of a mafia boss. He is accepted by them and one of their sons is in a relationship with his sister.
It's a slow burn film, with some violence and a run time of just over two hours. It winds down a bit in the third act but still has a decent amount of tension in it.
