Let's talk about steak

Going to a fine restaurant and ordering a steak well-done (or anything above medium) should be an international crime. It is already internationally taboo, and not many things are internationally taboo except incest, pedophilia, necrophilia and ordering a quality cut of beef well-done; all should be punished equally. Shit, I bet even the places that serve human fetus soup would look at you funny if you ordered a well-done steak. Nobody "only likes their steak well-done", they are just afraid to try it medium rare. If that's you, then just accept the fact that you don't like beef and don't eat it.
It is widely practiced in the restaurant industry that if a customer orders a steak well-done, they will be given the shittiest cut of beef they have because the quality of the meat will be unrecognizable if cooked past medium anyways. They might as well be served an army boot on a plate.

Don't even get me started on A-1 sauce.

Searing is the key to keeping the flavor in, even if a person does like it a little more done. I love cooking shows and watch them all the time.

My wife laughs every time I grill out, takes like a half hour just to get everything set up. Almost always hear, " here comes the chef ", which gets a little old after 12 years or so.

Love love spicy stuff!!! I'd like the peppered gravy recipe if you're willing.:D
Just your ordinary you beaut gravy that you like, mix in cracked pepper corns, pepper steak seasoning, and either black and/or white powdered pepper. Took a bit of hit and miss to get it right for me, give it a zapp or, cook slowly on the stove. You pretty much want the pepper to cook into the gravy. Once my tongue fell off, I knew I had it right. lol Actually, I go more for the nice warm aftertaste tingle rather than napalm heat, but each to their own. Tell me how you go!
