Sharing your gore interest

I've always been facinated by gore, like many here I saw it first on Faces of Death and Traces of Death, then found Rotten. A lot of my friends growing up thought Rotten was cool and gross at the same time. It didn't take them long to stop watching /looking at it and I continued. I don't know anyone irl who watches it or could stomach it. (Pussies) I have tried to share with people but they just look at and treat me like I'm a pycho serial killer, so I just kerp it to myself nowadays. My wife knows and while she's not facinated the way I am, she can watch and stomach it, better than any dude I've ever known when I was younger. She likes the ISIS and cartel vids the most.
Shit, you're lucky then. I remember showing my husband a video on here of a man who, apparently shot himself in the face or got shot in the face... anyway, he actually had no face...and he was mushing up his food with his fingers to place...somewhere in his head to eat..and he was doing this...rolling about of mashed food on his...I guess what was left of his tongue...no idea... Anyway! I thought my spouse would be fascinated like I was, asking all kinds of questions and shit, but...oh, he did ask questions, alright..."What is WRONG with you to watch stuff like this??!!... Ok. Omg... we will keep this shit amongst us morbid family members... No more sharing with any family members. Supposedly they are "normal"...

Gore isn’t the issue it’s the man ass fuck fetish I have that I’m scared of them to know.

🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔
There is a uneasy stigma about people who "watch" gore.
Some pointers --
I don't spend my entire day here--
Seeing -watching violence, suicides, car carnage is perfectly normal behavior--
Ever been on a busy freeway , traffic backed up, only because of a hard fender bender ?
Why ?
Rubber neckers, " Gawkers" , every person driving by the wreck wants to see if they can spot a dead, injured person .
There it is.
I say " Gore On" fellow Gorers.

My parents and all the close people think I'm weird and I'm mentally ill for watching gore, my friends call me psycho for liking these kind of videos but I wanted to know who else has the same situation, why do people think we're weird for watching gore? What's the problem if watching gore and liking it? I think it's normal.

Modern society has sought to remove the stark realities of life and death. Unless one is exposed to it the site of gore may be shocking. Do you not remember watching your first beheading?
I do, and I'm still trying to find it ... a chechen or russian soldier laying on his back, they have a rambo looking knife and start plunging it ... he doesn't scream or move too much, but there is a lot of "uh uh hu uh" as they start plunging it more and more in a sawing motion.
He's on his back, head on the right side of the screen and the guy with the knife is also on that side, slightly behind the camera. Dude is in green camo and there is white a lot of grass around. Never watched the full video back then because beheadings were still a little too much for me, but now I want to see the full thing.

As you said:
Societal norms have sought to remove the horrors of actual life from our view, you no longer kill your own pig and chicken to eat meat anymore ... accidents are quickly wrapped up (in first world countries at least) and wanting to see dead people is highly frowned upon by the masses.
Everyone has morbid curiosity, that accident on the side of the road you just can't not look at when passing by ...
In my experience, and with the couple other people I know who watch gore, it's people who've experienced it first hand who have their morbid curiosity take over and actually seek it out.

I'd argue it's actually way less of a psycho thing to do, because at least we're safely scratching our itch ... and not enacting it.
But time will tell if it's like porn ... where you start soft and slowly need more and more to get into it.

The OP is definitely a psycho. Weird too.
