Punisher, I’ve told you, it’s usually policy. Done because there are times when the suspect had been assumed dead , only to still be a threat. Hense they cuff every one. Dead or alive. Most of the weird shit you see cops do are because they train that way, consistently. Therefore, during a highly adrenaline charge situation like a shooting, less deadly mistakes are made. Lol in a life or death situation you're more than likely not going to have the thought to aim for the legs. The largest target on a person is their torso which is why cops and self defense shooters tend to aim and shoot there. They gave him a chance to surrender, i would've shot him too. I don't want to get whacked with a hatchet.

Really, that many bullets! Shoot the leg or arm. Didn't have to kill the guy. Cops these days are scared.
Ya, I know I just laugh at the irony of it. As someone that has trained to shoot people I;d make sure the areas known as the off switch are hit. BTW the guy did fall over dead so they did hit something critical.
The only thing that concerns me, is how many times he had to be shot before he fell down. I think they need better weapons.
I think one round in the leg would have put him down... cops just want to kill.
