I took a job out of desperation in my 20's that offered me a chunk of money doing nightshift at Nylex (they made all those plastic garbage bins with the yellow flip lids) anyway ... my job was when the huge machine pressed out the melted plastic lids I had to grab them and throw them onto a pile and a dude with a forklift would come every 15 minutes or so and cart them away. It was only on my second night I nearly got my arms squished in that fucking press and I realized nobody actually told me any shit about the place or how dangerous the machines are .. I told the foreman I needed to take a piss and I went to the toilets... and as I was taking a piss I had a weird epiphany about life. It was like my spirit guides were saying get the fuck out of this shit hole mate you're better than this crap .. and so I never went back I just left the machine doing its thing and fucked off out of there. They probably had 300 lids crammed in the machine all clogged I didn't give a fuck. Don't work in those environments - it's for robots or NOBODY!

Sometimes you don't need to say anything... if you enter a machine that crushes, what are you waiting for to happen? "Ah, this machine crushes, I'm going to get into it quickly to see something" and it crushes...
