What did Cromwell do?

Depends on which scholars you talk to. At one point he was responsible for a war that killed 1/3 of the Irish population. Years after his death they exhumed him, hung his corpse from the Tyburn tree, decapitated it and put his head on a pike and left it on the roof of Westminster Abby for 25 years or so.
