Shakespeare on crack
De Causis; Doctrinarum:
reasons; learnings:

Polite society here in the west hinges on the preservation of a grand lie.
This lie is told to - drilled into - each of us from infancy.
This lie is that the world is kind and soft and accommodating to all;
and that bad things only happen on tv or to evil people.
It is a fallacy that is weakening our social psyche.
Anyone who decides to think for themselves or to simply question the status quo is labelled a non-conformist or lost to the ‘mind virus’.
I do not hold that there is a mind virus-
It is the psychological evolution of too much freedom to think without reality checks to stay grounded within.

There in a word is what I say GoreGrish deals in:
Reality.
There are realities beyond school, college, work, marriage; family and then retirement.
Sadly also, there are realities beyond tolerance, empathy, equality and love.

Of course it is impossible for John the member of parliament for Hounslow to conceive of a world where criminals stab and shoot and rape and kill on a human level.
They simply know statistics; they know only the distilled human cost… a figure and not a reality.

There are people who go on beaming with pride about moments like D-Day,
As if the many sons and fathers weren’t minced on those beaches -
They say that war is a point of pride,
But have not watched the countless fallen in this modern age of war; have not seen the hopeless soldiers on both sides shooting themselves or blowing themselves up!

They go on about the pride in war, but see no human cost; just good vs. Evil.
This false moral system of good vs. evil always dictates that we only have to confront with - not understand - such matters and more than as mentioned above in order to write it all off as evil and move on.
We do not assess deeper than the surface.
If you put aside the shock and fear by accepting that these people whom you see are dead and cannot be saved, then it becomes more to assess the human cost of profane acts and dire situations, and less about morbid curiosities:
one can witness what these things do beyond the lie of polite society.

I do not use GoreGrish as some kind of psycho might; to take sexual satisfaction from suffering, nor to laugh at the deaths of others.
These fellas have some disturbing mental issues.
Using this site for five years has taught me much about the world that I live in, which I did not know before.
At the end of it, there is nothing to it except bodily ruin and death.
And that is all that people in throes of the lie fear;
The termination of their cosy fantasy.

The truth is that the digital age allowed people to speak and be heard in ways much beyond the book or town square.

Alongside this, media moguls make moves to monetise these things - murder stories sell better than a newborn cat story -
Hardly recognised is the fact that the media literally uses our morbid curiosity to drive us AWAY from reality.
Where a user of GG accepts reality in whatever fashion; they also recognise that there is a curiosity; a feeling of breaking into the profane - that which is told to be evil. -

Yet as time goes by, it becomes much less about the curiosity and more about having distinct reasons for using the site.
I am not a fool; I have my own thoughts and moral scruples.
GG for me, is a gateway to the real world beyond polite society.

Far beyond video games and tv shows are the real effects of gunshots; explosions; medical mishaps; acid attacks; accidents and mindless crimes - for some or many on this site, it is their… “food”. -

For me, it is all knowledge.
Knowledge is power.
Power to do differently to what I see.
GoreGrish has been one of the greatest educational tools that I have ever availed myself of;
It has shown me that the world is not soft and cuddly; that I cannot do things like catch a person falling from a building;
Run away from direct gunfire;
Survive running into a burning house;
It has shown me what war really looks and sounds like. (and now, war terrifies me. Not so before I found this site.)
I have learned what the human cost is for crime and mental health left unaddressed;
I watched the sicarios go about their works.

And over time I realised that I was learning something beyond what human costs looked like.
I was learning to identify what a real threat was: those who mindlessly commit violence.
They are the only fair game.

I came to this site as a mature man who was seeking to try and understand violence.
All I knew was what had been done on me and by me for many years:
My facade of living had been shattered already when I was in my early teens.

Beyond my own personal experience, it seemed that violence was prevailing in my lifetime: the rise of radical religious sects who did extreme violence; wars popping up everywhere; crime rates spiking -
This was happening all the time on the news… but I never saw what it meant on a human level until I found GG.
And so I wanted to understand - what was good violence and what was bad; could good violence ‘pay’ the human cost of all violence?
But this too was not correct, and I later learned that violence is totally abhorrent.
In all matters, we should seek to talk and not fight; to resolve things peacefully and not through violence.
We need not kill at all in a world where every person can empathise properly.

But it is better to know what our darkest actions and direst situations look like.
Not to ignore…
The better to save oneself or others if it happens;
To prevent or abstain from killing through knowing death is greater in its return than to just kill because you can.

I understand today that violence is a cycle;
Suicide is a message;
People are so very fallible.

I am the result of questions answered beyond the reality that I had to exist within.
I was like you until I stopped consuming gore content and started comprehending it.

You mistake me as a lib

I am sharing a soliloquy based on the questions of why I have used this site for so long and, what it has taught me.

I like the Shakespearean comparison though; tempest is a gem of a play
The truth is, humanity hasn't arrived here by accident, society has been coerced, manipulated, brainwashed, and propagandized, in every way imaginable. We need free thinkers who question the info being fed to them, there are far too many that question nothing and they are just as much the enemy as the orchestrators behind the scenes. The only thing that will matter in the end, is the connections you made with other living souls while you were here, it is the only thing you can possibly take with you as well.

That was well written,where they all your own words? This site as also been an education for me. I'm not into the gore part although i do watch some. It's the banter here and the free speech. Most people from what ever country think very much alike on topics that the Main Media try and push a different view and more or less tell you what you can say or think.

If you learnt things from GG that you already didn't know then you were obviously void of observing the world you live in. Everyone gets philosophical especially about War and the brutality of life, why we are all born and question the existence of God etc . For most people here, that's long over with and so you will see humorous banter and jokes made regarding tragedy that I think is way beyond your understanding of it.
Making fun of tragedy, and having empathy for those traumatized can both exist in people's personality.
Reading your lengthy and rather dramatic composition of why you think people are here and what motivates them is presumptuous , and you also allude to most people being here as shallow. There's an aire of snootiness as you condescendingly declare "I was once like you" ... How the FUCK do you know anything about me? beyond making assumptions.
So ok mate, Yeah , I was once like you too! ..... back when I was a fucking child and had no life experience.

I approached this site as a person who wanted to try and understand the realities of violence

To that end I say I have been a scholar

But in the beginning I did have morbid curiosity attached to my lesrnings

Today I have no more curiosity,
And feel I can present what And why,
So that people might see beyond the surface of “gore sites”

If anything, it’s a testament to how this site IMPROVED my life and mental health; a success story haha

Yes, all my own learnings and expressions

You know man.... Some days I think you must be a rather drunken Australian bastard. Then on other days I think you must be a fairly self-aware Australian bastard capable of composing grammatically correct prose while expressing complex existential concepts. I never know with you.
