yes to help bring mfg back to the u.s. but heres the thing. we have to build a bunch of new factories. which aint cheap. not like it ever was. but now wit the tariffs, its going to cost more. because we need steel to keep up with production. let it be for the construction,or machinery parts. and theres less than a dozen operating industries in this country. overall the companies found it cheaper to produce goods in countries with lower wages and fewer and more lax environmental or labor regulations, leading to all those the outsourcing of manufacturing jobs. plus kick backs to politicians for this to take place.
