Where were you 1978?

Well you don't see the news this way anymore. Fentanyl makes angel dust look like candy. The commercials are downright hilarious and sexist. The items Being advertised Are not being advertised today For example you don't see commercials for A microwave or a dishwasher anymore.

Thanks

Yet curry’s have a sale on 🤷‍♂️

American news in the 1980's: "Did you touch a turnstile in the NYC subway? You could have AIDS now. In lighter news Osama Bin Laden, that brave freedom fighter, has just shown the Soviet Union's ground forces in Afghanistan a taste of American stinger missle furry. Good luck Mr. Bin Laden and give em hell!"

I was a little kid so I would simply scurry under them like a rat. Remember the red trains? They were dumped in the East River now I think. Those things scared me because their interior lights always randomly turned off. I liked looking out the window of the front car near the conductor, that is if the glass wasn't hopelessly opaque from acid and knife carving graffiti, you don't really see too much of that stuff now, those were the good old days. Also tokens, I remember scrounging the floor, drains, and return slots and finding them occasionally.

Dont remember the red ones. I was doing this late 80s, early 90s. Harlem had full door turnstiles at the time. I had a technique of a quick hop over @ Penn. ( Im tall ). Exciting back then cause it was like being in the land of chaos. lol

I was early 90's to early 2000's mostly in Queens, through Brooklyn and Manhattan. 159th street station by the gheto burger king, which is still there, but I'm not, fuck that place. 🤣 I remember people enjoyed playing the upside down 5 gallon buckets. They were really good actually. It was like the fucking Fat Albert universe down there.

Nope, back then I went to cop, get drunk, and see what other kind of stuff was happening in Manhattan. I did used to take the 7 to flushing, and then a Russian / Korean tour bus to that casino in Connecticut when i first opened up. Lived for a bit in Bed Stuy. Have a lot of family thoughout Brooklyn actually, but Manhattan has always been my play ground.

*edit; Oh yeah then head back to Jersey. lol

Ive seen people play drum in the subway with buckets? is that what you mean?

You could prolly still see that. lol

Ive been in the midwest almost a decade now. I already know Im going home to NYC at some point. IDK when.
