There's an interesting movie (though obviously fiction) based on that premise. It's called Intacto.

Cool! I'll check it out. When I leaned of the butterfly effect it always bugged me as a kid. It made me think of what would have happened to that fireman had I not found and returned his badge and clover. Would he have died in the towers. Or would he have never been present there at all (perhaps being written up and leaving the force before it even happened). The odds of an 8 year old being the reason for such a chain of events or lack thereof is crazy to think about.

The movie is more based on the luck aspect. I haven't seen it in years, but from what I remember it was well done. If I watched it all the way to the end, that's saying something. 😂
