murder Erin Patterson found guilty of murderous beef Wellington.

Evil, dumb, and ugly. What a great combo!

I was only vaguely aware of this case before reading more about it just now. I can't believe she killed people and fucked up her and her children's life over a husband who'd been estranged for 8 years. Just get divorced and move on already. Enjoy the millions you inherited without any merit, and mother your children, ffs!
Hot enough in her day though.

But nothing involving eating...

"Is that a mushroom in your pants Erin or are you just dying to feed me?"

So what you are saying correct me if wrong, is she may have been accidentally force fed all her life, hence deserving a lesser charge of egregious fat fuckery
I don't think they would charge an individual of a lesser crime if that were the case but, if found guilty it might effect the sentence they hand down.

In Australia they don't categorize murders into degrees like the US or some other countries do. Their legal system focuses on intent and circumstances surrounding a killing and they work towards determining whether whatever happens constitutes murder or manslaughter with the difference being did the individual intend to kill them, did the individual intend to cause them bodily harm? It's actually a more simple approach to unlawful killing imo. I often have thought the US legal system should have a more simplified approach to unlawful killing but, alas they like it all confusing. They enjoy things like quibbling, bickering, & freaking arguing, it's literally how they earn a living here.

We don't do plea deals like the US either, there's no haggling over sentencing length. You're either found guilty of premeditated murder or you're not. That's the law in a nutshell.

I know, I like that about Australia. Having it that way seems... I dunno, more honest somehow. I've known some people who should never have been given the sweetheart deals they were. NYC prosecutors still did it though. πŸ€·πŸΌβ€β™€οΈ Our legal system sucks here but, you already know that. Plus, there's just too many people in the USA altogether & too much corruption within the US government to include the DoJ but, also in the local and state governments too.

You do get a reduction for a guilty plea I believe.

The motive is to save the time and expense of a court case.

Also, if you don't tell where the body is then you never get parole.

She's a mass murderer so I wouldn't expect much in the way of leniency even if she admitted to her plan at the trial.
Yes. I mean, she really did fuck up, poor old Erin.

3 dead because you got pissed off that huby changed his tax reeturn from 'married' to 'separated' and one attempted murder.

She misse out on getting her husband because he didn't attend.

What an arrogant woman! But stupid. Her tracks were everywhere. Physical and electronic.

I wonder what sentence she'll get. 30 years?

Really, she should never be released. She can do this stuff at any age...

In Australia is it a long wait for sentencing and will it be a jury that decides that or just a judge? I don't think there's any other notorious female Aussie murders who has racked up 3 plus an almost, is there?

I fully realise that. My facetious replies are flying high over some heads

It's because most of the time you're so serious and when I read your comments I pretend you sound like W.A.M. whose voice I can only imagine but, it's slightly comedic & slightly like Hitler too & ofcoarse you have an accent.
