murder Charlie Kirk assassination

This was a professional hit and the idiot looking dude they caught is just a scape goat or just some idiot they gave basic sniper lessons to. I think maybe they were going for a face or head shot but the wind or gravity made the bullet travel down wards. Imo
A professional hit that cannot compensate for wind and drop. You literally contradict yourself in one breath.

Like i said maybe they gave this scapegoat a quick training. And even if it was a professional hit, maybe they was going for the neck. Who knows.
Said like a person afraid of firearms bc they might jump up and hurt you.

As previously stated, any kid that’s had a .22 and has gone rabbit, deer, hell even just target shooting, could make that shot.

200 yards with a scoped hi power round is nearly flat trajectory. Stationary target (mostly). The shot jitters is what made the kid slightly miss from a head shot. Called buck fever, it happens.

Literally nothing more than that.

Your average guy would miss due to wind direction, even at 200 yards. I understand what you are saying but think about it logically, the guy couldn’t take the truth and decided to get rid of one person leaving his child without a father
Folks are better shots here in Mississippi. Hunters here grow up knowing as a rule of thumb a typical 3006 with a hunting load has about a 6” drift at 200 yards for every 10mph/90 degree crosswind. Not perfect but keeps you within a 2-3” target.

Anyone wanting to assassinate a famous figure would use a wind correction chart and wind speed tools.

All I’m saying is this is a shot a weekend deer/big game hinter makes many times in a season. It’s not a shot requiring military sniper skills.

Literally nothing more this guys was too free spoken and had alot to say. I think the higher ups made him the scape goat

Most likely he wears a vest. It hit the neck, major arteries on both sides, you're (unconcious) in less than 8 seconds from the blood loss. Brains fucked really quick without oxygen, minutes, and then the heart stops, you're dead.
Why do I say 8 seconds, I don't remember, some random fact I seem to recall. Very similar to that Ukrainian chick on the bus if you watch from stabby to her collapse.
You aim for the neck to kill, why? Because the head moves, and the skull is hard and bullets can glance off it or not actually destroy enough brain tissue to stop the heart.
You can see his boobies through his shirt. Definitely no vest on.

It's entirely possible, but the spinal cord is not a viable target from a hunters point of view. Have you seen the video? He looses a litre a blood in a few seconds.
If you aim at a deer's upper shoulder the bullet will break the shoulders and go through the spine on the way through.

First one I got was a big sambar stag. It stood there ballanced on its four legs for seconds. I thought i'd missed it. But then it just fell over. Butchering revealed broken spine and bullet through both shoulders and resting just against the skin on the other side. .303 British. Range about 50 yards.

Any suggestions on the caliber used to kill Kirk? I want to say 30 caliber because the size of the hole
3006.

So 30 cal.

3006 was 30 cal brought out in 1906.

As oppossed to 45-70 which is 45 cal with 70 grains of black powder.

Or 7.62 x 54 R which is 7.62 mm by 54 mm cartridge length with R signifying 'rimmed' as in a metal rim rather than a sexual act for men or from men to make their wives hot.

A doe I shot a few yrs ago with 7mm-08. Just as I pulled the trigger she dipped, and I hit her in the spine. She was 2/3rds up a hill, and essentially rolled down the hill to me and the trail. Easiest pack out ever.

Yes. it can work like that but not for me...

My first sambar was on a creek line in thick scrub about a km down from the road along a very steep spur. I think I took out 4 or 5 back packs full of meat. I was fucked afterwards... but rich in meat.

I used to shoot hog deer on a mates farm and we'd drive right up to the animal in the farm truck and carry it back to hang for a couple of days before butchering. That was civilised hunting!
