Charlie Kirk got Shot

Can we also agree that summarizing what someone said is conveniently taking it out of context, as well
It was not taken out of context.

The question was explicit: if his 10-year-old daughter was raped and pregnant, would he want her to carry the baby? Kirk called it “awfully graphic” but affirmed, “The answer is yes, the baby would be delivered.”

His attempted explanation... that it’s about “doing something good in the face of evil”... doesn’t change the substance of that answer.

Instead of dismissing it as ‘out of context,’ maybe the real question is... what context could possibly provide a coherent justification in forcing a child to carry her rapist’s pregnancy?

Whataboutism at its finest

Reading these comments... wow unbelievable 99% of you have no empathy watching all kinds of monstrosities without knowing anything about the victims you just assume that they deserve it. But now that this mongoloid (I found out about this abomination on the day he died, saw a few videos where you can clearly see he is not right in the head judging by some jaw movements) finds out about karma now all of the sudden all of you strong independent Trump lovers turned into an average liberal. Amazing

You're right to call out whataboutism when it's used to deflect.

But this isn’t a deflection, it’s coming back to the main issue.

The point still stands: forcing a child to carry a pregnancy from rape? That needs a serious, specific justification.

So let’s forget everything else for a sec and just focus on that.

What ethical reasoning actually makes that not just okay, but the right thing?

If a philosophy is supposed to make sense, shouldn’t its most extreme cases be the ones that actually hold up?

You're on a forum where people watch people get their heads cut off and laugh about it. What the fuck did u expect? lmao

I agree entirely that a fundamental right implies a right to effective self-defense. And you're right, a law is meaningless to someone who has already decided to break it.

That leads to a deeper question, though: If we accept that a right must be exercised responsibly to be legitimate, doesn't that imply a duty to be capable of exercising it responsibly?

We require training to drive a car (another potentially lethal instrument) not to restrict freedom, but to ensure public safety and competence. If we champion the right to bear arms for protection, shouldn't we equally champion the mandate for rigorous training?

Wouldn't that actually strengthen the responsible exercise of that right, ensuring someone truly can protect what they love?

We have many many gun ranges, thats what they are for.

Tell you what - why don’t you let the decision be made by the family and ppl involved, since it’s none of your nor my business. There is no right answer for it, and it’s their pain to deal with.

If the pain and weight of the decision are so heavy that it should only be up to the people directly affected, then what ethical authority does any philosophy have to take that choice away and force one state-approved outcome?

If it’s truly “none of our business,” then the logical conclusion is to protect the family’s right to decide... not legally force them down one path.

So your argument is make abortion legal, yawn. But state mandated isn’t enough, it has to be federally mandated and make everyone comply. Sounds an awful lot like forcing ppl to accept something some don’t want to accept.

Also - yeah you’re a fucking sock acct, no doubt about it. Fuck off, pussy. Post under your real identity don’t be a hiding faggot

Charlie was an evil man but I have zero tolerance for political violence.
I mean not violence as a collective, but specifically .. I’m generally “POLITICAL” violence? No what you meant to say, dipshit is that you don’t think that this idiot should’ve been killed for his political standings. My thoughts also align with yours, but the more I learn about him, It would be irresponsible of any of us to say that this guy materialized himself into a Pack and spoke it into existence.
The main thing that folks are missing concerning this shooting is that the material that his T-shirt was of impeccable quality I mean definitely resistant to any all fluids.. I mean I would only put Charlie Kirk’s picture on a T-shirt if it’s made of that material.

Don’t think you understand how bible bashers work, they see all life as sacred, so don’t believe in killing another human life form,
Just coz you don’t understand it doesn’t make it more or less right

I understand the belief that life is sacred... the philosophical conflict arises when one group's definition of sacredness is enforced upon others who are living through unimaginable trauma.

If the pain is truly theirs to bear, doesn't enforcing a single outcome make their suffering a matter of public policy rather than private conscience?

You accuse me of "forcing people to accept something some don’t want to accept"... oh, like forcing a 10-year-old rape victim to carry a pregnancy to term?

Hypocrite.

But since you’ve run out of arguments and resorted to slurs, this conversation is clearly over.

We have many many gun ranges, thats what they are for.
That’s like saying we have roads, so why require driver’s tests?

Ranges allow for practice, but they don’t ensure fundamental competence or safety knowledge... they assume it.

Training isn’t about restricting rights, it’s about ensuring those rights are exercised responsibly, safely, and effectively.

Without baseline standards, you risk arising incompetence, not empowering liberty.

Was never a conversation, pussy. I made statements and you think you’re clever to offer ChatGPT rebuttals. Fuck off
