I think it's definitely worth a watch. Sequels are often disappointing but not this one imo.

Decide for yourself without others telling you how good it is. It's not as dark as the first one.. but all the same characters are there 20 years later. This makes it so nostalgic 👌

I do prefer the first too.. but the second is still a good watch. Different eras and filming styles played a big part. The first one was so fucking raw and real. The second feels more like a movie.

I preferred reading Porno than watching the movie.

But it has been over 20years since I read it probably worth a reread after all these years, in my experience films rarely live up to the books though tbf.

I keep getting recommendations to read his novels. Mostly 'The Acid House'. It's on the reading list. Have you read that?
I loved reading 'The Beach' and 'American Psycho'. They missed out the best parts in the movies.. even though they are still good movies.

I didn't, but I did mean too for a long time, I even have a copy in a box somewhere.
It kept on getting put back for other thing and if I'm completely honest I've almost completely stopped reading books since having kids over the last 10+years, whenever I have the time nowadays I'm nearly never in the mood.

I'll probably pick it back up when they're older.

May work for you though one of my relatives swear by Audible app, I never used that though I hate iPhones.
