Side note: Bell labs "invented" RAM memory in 1952.....was THE FIRST EVER "commercial" customer for IBM as well, so IBM got the "invention"...when i read the title i naturally thought it was a technician from one of the big land-line telephone companies.
I thought he was attacked inside the customer's home fixing a bad telephone wire. Need to update my thinking.
