An off-duty police officer was leaving the restroom at a supermarket in Boedo when he stumbled upon a robbery. He opened fire, shot one of the robbers, and foiled the heist. A year later, the fugitive suspect was captured.

CCTV footage shows the robber entering the store with his face uncovered, pretending to be a customer. After a brief conversation with the cashier, who was behind the counter with another man, he headed straight to the back room.
Then his accomplice, armed and masked, entered. He threatened the employee and the customer, forcing them into the back room, where they also overpowered the deli manager. "Stop, police!" the officer shouted, just leaving the restroom when he noticed the robbery. He yelled, "Stop!" and opened fire.
