Objectively a socialist or communist state sounds like a pretty good deal for the citizens and the government. Obviously you can take it too far like North Korea but I feel like China has the perfect balance of the two. As someone who’s lived in China, surviving is just so much easier. I actually had a very hard time when I moved back to the states financially. My healthcare was completely free or very inexpensive in China and it seems like the quality of life is still pretty good even if you age a poor worker. I’ve always been fascinated by the red scare era of American History. ( this is my 1st post btw so sorry if it’s terrible )

My healthcare is managed by United Healthcare and I pay a fortune but it’s good. Not everyone can afford a “good” policy and there’s still so many restrictions and prior authorizations. Like when I needed antibiotics for strep , I had to wait almost a week for them to approve it.

No, "we" aren't. Most of us just want to work, feed our families and be left alone to do that. This is America, and yes it's the greatest country on Earth. If you want a job, you'll find one. It may not be the one you're looking for, but you take it and keep looking. We don't the government getting involved with every aspect of our lives. The government, ESPECIALLY PROGRESSIVE/SOCIALIST DEMOCRATS want to tax the hell out of us to pay for "social services" which is another way of saying "money laundering." California has probably spent $20 billion to fight homelessness and only made it worse AND can't account for the money spent. Socialism is a bullshit scam that makes politicians and their donors wealthy by taxing the rest of us to "solve problems" they don't actually want solved. Because then they couldn't tax us anymore. They keep minorities poor by giving them hand outs, convincing them that they're victims of society, pretend that the government is their only savior, and ensuring that they keep voting for those same scumbag politicians who mysteriously become millionaires. FUCK THAT.

And no, it isn't only democrat politicians that are dirty. It's basically all of them. Otherwise we could have already passed the SAVE ACT.

My parents aren’t dead or dying. I only have 1 brother. Also I wouldn’t put my parents in a nursing home but I suppose that’s cultural differences. I’m sorry the fucked you over though. My dad was dirt poor when he grew up in a trailer park in the South. It’s seriously tragic seeing some of the poorest counties in the United States. I guess I can understand how that comes across as me boasting my wealth but I’m always open to being humbled.

But no... it sounds great, so did national socialism if you stripped it clean from the obvious implication in history and the only seemingly promoted part of the whole regime to this day, no one really mentions the economic side of things or the benefits of a system which is almost exclusively associated with racial cleansing and racism these days. Alot of these things are so tainted by past events and atrocities that its hard to really hear them out on their own merits. (Communism and socialism likewise)

People in China are mostly contempt with their social status. Most of the time it’s predetermined at birth. You have to marry into a higher social class. I’d say that’s the main difference. Obviously it’s not a free market economy.

Nobody wants to live a hard life. I agree with you. Victims are victims if they tell themselves that. It’s a mentality but also don’t act like it’s not fucking hard out there. Obviously ur gonna pay more taxes in California, more people live there than Utah. Social programs only work if people take advantage of them. For example free or low cost tuition in New York. So many people I know would rather go bankrupt than attend a state university. Who can you really blame for the downfall of a society. The people, leaders, politicians systems? There’s many ways we can look at it. We don’t have the power to choose anything in America since our government is representative and not a direct democracy. But why would you want the save act passed? It would directly decrease the amount of people allowed to vote .
