I was afraid of being buried alive. I had an uncle that would pick me up by my feet and say he was going to bury me in the back yard.
I was also scared of getting out of bed in the middle of the night. Same uncle convinced me that a bear would come out from under my bed and eat me if I got up.
Clowns. I still hate them.

china dolls, (still am) watched a film called the doll when i was little and it had a creepy china doll that came alive and attacked people. it was idenitcal to mine and my sisters so they went into the loft. when we moved they got brought down and my sisters ones face had been smashed, omg it looked even more scary!.
Jaws! i was petrified a shark was going to come up the toilet, so me and my sis use to sit on the seat and wee at the same time..
I always thought there was something scary under my bed, would never poke my toes over the edge (still wont now haha!) and if i needed the toilet in the night i would stand on the bed and leap as far as i could so nothing grabbed my ankles!
clowns (still am) love the film IT though, it creeps the fuck out of me!

1 when i was about 11 or 12 we saw a black guy get thrown in a gator pit by the klan he was screaming and we were told if we told that would be us in the pit next.....
2nd got treed over night by a huge razorback which wanted to eat me ....
not much else comes to mind as a kid other then the usual horror movie nightmares most kids get.

As for myself, the usual I guess. The horror movie late every Sunday night on t.v often scared the shit outta me.. I especially remember having recurring nightmares after watching the tarantula scene in this fucker:

I can only think of 2 off the top of my head - Midgets, for some inexplicable reason. The second was something I saw on tv; I have no idea which movie/show this was. I was probably around 4 or 5 when I saw this scene. There was 2 little girls running through the woods, and they were being chased by a man wearing a yellow raincoat, hood up. He caught up to one of them and I remember she said, "Please mister, I promise I won't say anything." Then you see the man swing a giant tree trunk and the focus shifts to white flowers as they are splattered with blood. I can still see those flowers distinctly in my mind, it scared the shit out of me.

If anyone knows were this was from, let me know, would love to watch this movie (or whatever it was, for all I know it was a vivid dream).
