What do you collect?

Not really a collector of anything. I have the Official PlayStation Magazine from issue #1 and like to buy the limited/special edition of the next game I want.
I also have all of my old consoles and games from years gone by, but I don't buy old retro games to add to them so can't really call myself a collector... just a person who can't bear to part with it all.

I primarily collect skulls, and related art, bedspreads, rugs, etc. I have since I was a kid...

I also collect scrap metal for forging (iron, steel) and casting (aluminum) in the colder months.

I collect fortune cookie fortunes. I have, I would say, close to 1000 of them (if I remember when I get home I'll take a pic). I am not a big fan of Chinese food so most of the fortunes were collected from various friends, co-workers, family. When ever I see a fortune cookie, I always ask for the fortune. People think I'm nuts but my ultimate goal is to make a table top with them with some sort of glass, plastic or clear resin over the top. Thought it would be an interesting conversation piece. Think about all the wisdom!

nothing for me, all I have is my vast collection of 1990's black/death metal LP's, but I'm keeping them, not collecting.

I sold 99% of these when I moved, now I collect a pay cheque and that's all I need

That's a bit of a shame, though completely understandable.
Surely you collect something else now? I believe collection to be a generally unconscious human behavior.

I don't have one thing that interests me so much I need to gather as much of it as possible. Growing up music was a big part of our group and that is why I owned shitload of records but I don't really listen to the same music these days, so I sold it all to people who do. I'm the kind of guy who can vanish tomorrow and not have to drag a trailer full of crap behind me. It all fits in a bag, or I consider it expendable - people included

I suppose that's a respectable and useful trait to carry. I hardly indulge myself in physical collection. But I'm a total sucker for US Army "Challenge Coins" I've earned and skulls.
