This is a shot in the dark, but a few comments referencing voodoo;
Does anyone remember a movie, I believe from the 80's. A guy is doing voodoo, he pulls a bone out of a woman's vagina (I believe) then he goes to the end of the dock, where he's mixing it with blood and chicken bones. The girl is tied up.
Remember seeing it as a young kid, but can't find it. Would be a good one, I think.

The Serpent & The Rainbow...... good film. Bill Pullman, before he became the President of the USA.
I'll be watching Hellraiser, Hellraiser II, Hellraiser III, and Hellraiser VI on Halloween. Because of course I fucking will be - it's kink body horror, the best kind of spooky fun.

All good choices. For those who might not know, The Serpent & The Rainbow was based loosely on experiences ethnobotanist Wade Davis actually had in Haiti. It's just a top-quality movie.
Similarly, The Doctor and The Devils is based "upon the true story of Burke and Hare, who in 1828 Edinburgh, Scotland, murdered at least 16 people and sold their bodies for anatomical dissection" - Wiki et el. The reason I like it is (OK, Twiggy) but also the dark atmosphere and on-screen flavor of 19th Century London. The music and the last line from Dr. Rock are chilling.

I love the classics as well. I’m 29 and I DESPISE a the pop culture I grew up on, especially the music.
I’m watching the first hellraiser today! I’ve seen it when I was a kid but not for years. Have you seen the 2022 remake and if so what are your thoughts? Worth a watch?
