That is not near as impressive as the Isle of Mann TT motorcycle race. Those guys live on the very edge. It is the most dangerous form of motorsports that there is.
I took this photo in 1900 when I went on vacationMy dad lives there, moved there when I was a medical student. No speed limit in the national areas. Racing track corner markings on the roads all year round. Lovely place.
At the bottom of their map at the start is Laxey Water. Home to the giant water wheel with a long viaduct to channel the water.

I have watched it for years also. It never ceases to amaze me at the pure riding skill of those guys. They really are on a level above everyone else. When you watch them and then realize that running 170 to 190 mph they literally have to set up for a curve waaaay before they even get there and that all happens in a few brief seconds running that fast. Many times they are maneuvering for an upcoming portion of the road before they can even see it because they have to know every square inch of a 37.8 mile long loop running almost 200 mph at times.Yeah. I love watching the superbikes run the TT there. The FPVs from the bikes on that run are amazing.
Utterly fucking intense and terrifying!
Every crew has different words to differentiate corners or conditions in corners. In this case I think maybe means not full throttle or something similar.I've never really watched a rally video with the navigator giving directions. What's with all the "maybe" crap? Isn't the navigator supposed to know the EXACT actions needed to negotiate the course and keep the driver apprised?! Maybe someone more informed on rallying can enlighten us on that point?
Sweet. I appreciate the the input. That's more than I would have guessed.Every crew has different words to differentiate corners or conditions in corners. In this case I think maybe means not full throttle or something similar.
Way too many maybes. That’s like asking a first date or your sister to do bareback “maybe”
