Sadly, your prediction was remarkably accurate. I didn't know the Australian justice system was that backward. Britton's sentence was announced a few hours ago:
"Adam Britton, a once-celebrated zoologist, has been sentenced to 10 years and five months in prison for the rape, torture and murder of dozens of dogs."
