bizarre Bitch only changes her pad once during cycle

The single worst smell I have ever experienced in my life, let alone my medical career, was a retained tampon I had to extract.

I was working in A&E (ER) in my second year as a junior doctor. The presenting complaint message said “personal”. It was a low intelligence 16-year-old chav girl with her mum and 16-year-old boyfriend (with the trademark Burberry baseball chav cap).

The nurse warned me that the smell was “a bit overpowering so we put her in the side room”. As the door opened I was punched in the face with the most pungent stench known to man. I asked what the problem was and she said “me boyfriend been fingering me and he found a lump”.

As she opened her legs, the true extent of the extinction level event went up my nose. This was the first and only time I have retched at work! Think shit, urine, fish, blood, rotting meat, egg and vomit all mixed in a blender and left in the sun. Then imagine snorting a line of it!!!

When I fished out the ‘lump’, it was a black clotted old tampon. She had left it in during her previous period and was currently menstruating again, a month later!!!!!!!! I asked her boyfriend why he didn’t notice the smell and he said “I thought it were normal”. 😂

I rang the gynaecology on-call who just said “fuck! Just give her shit loads of antibiotics” 😂 Fun times.
I can attest this. My partner got drunk one night and couldn't remember if she removed the tamp. Flash forward a bit, and I had to help her remove the thing. The smell lingered in the room for a while. But yeah, leaving it in accidentally or otherwise, could be very bad for the health.
