She said "I rebuke you." I think she was trying to make a religious joke, but in the full 30-something minute video I watched on Youtube she was visibly psychotic (maybe drug-induced, maybe not), and they were on their guard because of this.

Yeah, shitty situation all around. Shooting her was probably excessive, but in the heat of the moment, when you're already on guard because the person in front of you is erratic and unpredictable.... well, the worst case scenario played out.
Here's the extended video cued to the primary officer's camera footage, though the woman's strange behavior begins at the beginning of the video.

In reading some additional articles, someone who knew her well said in the past few weeks she had been acting out-of-character & paranoid specifically about possibly being killed by police. Maybe she was having mental health issues that only came about recently but, it also sounds like she was the one that dialed 911 about there being a prowler &/or intruder in the home. Scary.
It's like a fucked up scene from a horror film. I didn't see any 30 m long YTs but, there's apparently a lot of news outlets that covered this & protests regarding her & two addition deaths.
i think this former deputy is going down.
