I have counted to infinity, twice.
Hit the air vent.

It’s similar to the Bessemer Converters used in steel production. Blasting air in to the furnace increases temperature and combustion efficiency. In steel production it aids the removal of impurities from the iron.

This Bessemer Converter is in Sheffield, outside Kelham Island Museum.

Randomly, this is a night picture of the steel works across Sheffield when got back from work a couple of nights ago. The glow was intense and lasted about a minute.

The guy was probably still alive and conscious but couldn’t move because of the paralysis of meds which at this point we’re just starting to wear off. Of course, this has happened in surgical procedures.

I thought that too at first but saw the sheet wasn't blowing around so much.

It was his elbow hanging below the rungs of the carriage bumping the vents as he was loaded in.
