They are auditors to see if our laws that our fathers fought for are still working in this country. Most of the people that give them shit are folks that shouldn't even be here.
In these videos we have a couple of English women running a public library that think they are still back in the UK.

What would you do if someone places a camera in front of your work desk or starts filming your partner or child. I agree it is not about laws it's to make views.
There might not be a law against intentionally triggering a mentally ill person so you can video record them in post a video, but that doesn't mean that the asshole with the camera doesn't need a beating.

If it was in a public or government office where I am already on multiple cameras, I would do nothing other than mind my business and my job, ensuring I do my best to keep confidential or privileged information for which I am responsible from being recorded, full stop. See a kiosk or counter in a U.S. Post Office on Federal Land. If I was that upset about it, I'd find other work in the private sector, where I was also being recorded, but where "the press" would not be allowed to record me or my work.
If your partner or child doesn't wish to be recorded in public, then remove them out from the view of the public eye! That is on you, not "the press". Otherwise, tough shit! They are being recorded without permission everywhere in public anyway! Believe it or not.
