bizarre Catatonic schizophenic interview from the 1960's.

Funny he looks like my nieces current fella 😂 🤣 he's an fkn weirdo too I say to her, "i tell ya courts he'll end up eating ur face whilst ur asleep or u will wake up on fire, cos u know fire makes everything better" 🤣🤣

You are on the money there. This gent presents far more as a schizophrenic with autism than one with a catatonic state per DSM. That is even if he exhibits schizophrenic symptoms at all as they aren't apparent in the clip
My understanding of catatonia is that they do not have the ability to move or speak on their own. If you move their arm it will stay where it's left.

I have the DSM 5 on my shelf but I'm just up having my first cup of tea before dawn (0449 here) and I can't be fucked getting up. I'll get it later and post a definition here...

Wish the interviewer had a cigarette in his silhouette

I watched this video after Kitt’s post. I am no expert in any shape or form on mental disorders but the subject in Op’s post can not be a full blown catatonic at least not at the time when the interview took place.
