True Story- the Rock Monument in South Dakota ( Mount Rushmore) was built by Chinese laborers from San Francisco...at 5¢ a day wages.
not all were chinese laborers. there was about 400 workers on that thing from 1927 to 1941. and some labour was making up to $8.00 a day
