Also speaking of civil war, Iraq is about to erupt into a civil war. Can't wait to see some of those pics!

The LTTE were a designated terrorist organisation in several countries. They constantly attacked the rest of the nation. Ceasefires existed, but the LTTE just kept breaking them. Tamils are a minority ethnicity. Sri Lanka is almost 75% Sinhalese. The majority eventually ran out of patience and the military went in full force, crushing them.
