Pretty much like how most "new" GG Allin sucks total balls, might shine through with a decent song every so often, but that's about it. Nothing beats GG & The Jabbers...

depends on what you're feeling that day. somedays his earlier , lighter , more catchy stuff just doesn't suit the mood. on the other hand , everything past rock n roll terrorist DID suck , with the exception of a few of his country songs...i just try to sample everything. most suck , some don't.

the vid has some excellent images. the music, well, reminded me of the Dead Kennedy's if they they had been up on meth for a month or so. the message is kind of funny- and i guess this debate should be posted elsewhere, but such a myopic view of the issue makes a good punk song, not much else.

I guess if that's how you look at it, I just think there's no way anyone could say GG wasn't a better singer back when he was with The Jabbers and wasn't fucked from drugs, he was on fire as a vocalist at the time not to mention GG & The Jabbers had overall better music aswell, it was dirty, perverted, rebellious and a big fuck you to society without all the cliche "i'm gonna rape you" shock value...

early gg is great , the BEST even , but some if not most of it was super "bubble gum" sounding , even with lyrics like "gimme some head" , ect...don't get me wrong , i love this shit , but i just like the slightly later , darker-humored stuff a bit more , like from the album "always was and always shall be". still with the jabbers , just slightly better imo.


even "EMF" , "freaks , faggots , drunks and junkies" and "doctrine of mayhem" were good. fuck , even "expose yourself" was alright.




the shit i absolutely detest from him is the shit like "war in my head" , "the suicide sessions" (mostly) , "carnival of excess" , shit with anti-seen and murder junkies (again , most of it) , ect.
