I was wondering why these planes burn off so much fuel just standing there for 17 minutes.
I've seen a couple and they hang around for a while not to mention the pomp and ceremony.
Lovely jets though.

There a lot of pre-flight checks and procedures and this isn't an emergency/alarm-start, I guess. But I'm no expert.
