Does anyone know a murderer? or have had an encounter with one?

Handyman who lived a few doors down and across the street murdered his girlfriend one night and buried her in the bushes in the front yard. Had a few run ins with him. A few months before he killed his girlfriend we caught him in the alley messing around with the garage.

Told me he'd kill me. Told him he was welcome to try. He had a screwdriver and my brother and I had baseball bats. He decided it wasn't worth it that night and just walked away. 2 days later all 4 tires on my car were flat. As were the tires on the woman's car across the street who had turned him down like a week before that.

While I've never met someone who actually killed someone, my cousin is on prison for an attempted murder that she committed when I was in fifth grade. I was never really close enough with her to notice anything different about her, or maybe I was just too young & naive.
We should know more about your cousin's case
Gun ownership is free in the US
You can kill someone with a kitchen knife, but it is much easier to kill with a pistol or a rifle because the killer does not come into physical contact with the victim if he is killed with a gun
But with a knife, for example, it is different, not everyone is capable of killing someone with a knife, because then they would have to physically stab, touch their victim and stab or cut them, and not all killers have the stomach or courage to do that.
It is a psychologically proven fact that there are more murders where someone is killed with a gun than where the free possession of weapons is not allowed
It is also questionable whether the murder was premeditated or committed out of a sudden impulse and whether it was "intentional murder" or "bodily assault causing death"
There is also the question of whether alcohol or drug use is involved in a case, because the majority of murderers are basically violent personality types who are alcoholics and drug addicts, and even steroids can be considered, there were those who exterminated their entire families because of the many steroids

The girl I lost my virginity to ended up participating in the stabbing of a homeless guy in the woods. She didn’t make sure he was dead and the fucker crawled to safety, held on and recovered. Personally I’m just offended she didn’t think to include me. Love me some crazy!

To be fair I hadn’t discovered the part of myself that would have wanted to help at that point in time.

My neighbor spent 25 years in prison for blowing his girlfriend's head off with a shotgun. We stay away from him...

In front of my house there are a lot of drug dealers that I know, all of them have killed or are killing people directly or indirectly.

I've been in contact with friends of Richard Ramirez (the Night Stalker). I interviewed them. I also have inmates penpals. One of the "famous" ones is Lyle Menendez, one of the Menendez brothers.
I'm glued to the Menendez series on Netflix. I'd love to know if Lyle sees himself in the character they've created. It's burning a hole in my curiosity!

My friends grandfather was a tuskegee airman back in ww2 he was old back in the late 80's - 1990 . He was a cool dude , would give us money sometimes to buy icecream off the mr. Softees truck. I remember he had his medals on the wall and uniform on a mannequin. I didn't know what it was till a few years later when i learned about them in school. I was still very young then. In fourth grade going into 5th grade. I'm sure he shot down nazi's lol . Side note: many years later . Again i did'nt notice till after wards,, i unknowingly met a nazi when i was working in a large chain supermarket like in 97-98, worked in the produce dept and then one time a new older guy started working with us and i got to talking to him one day and he asked me if im latino,n i said yes, he said that he knew how to speak spanish, ( i could hear the accent cause i know the people from there sound like) and started speaking saying words and sentences and i was kinda thrown off becuase he look really white and i was like of wow kool, how did you learn? He said he had lived in argentina for a long time. I was like cool. then i asked are you from there he said no that he was born in germany, then Said words in german,i was like oh cool. And i remember he had this like carefree ,cooky ,wierd vibe about him ,seemed cool but had like a dark side almost didnt give a fuck type attitude. I did'nt think about it till like 3 years or so later after watching the history channel that alot of nazis fled to there after the war. And i said ohh shit!! Lol maybe he was a failmy member of a nazi or a young nazi when he fled germany. Who knows. I was really blown back because i'm a big history guy and always was into it in school. But at the time i was busy chasing girls, being bad and tough ( lol) so i wasnt thinking clearly then but when i settled down later on, it hit me like a ton of bricks. This all happend in long island new york.

The most laughable and unbelievable part of the arrant nonsense you spewed upon your keyboard was you claiming that you ever have or will lose your virginity. When are you going to launch this "big media event" that we're all going to hear about, by the way?

I once wrote a letter to Lyle. Unfortunately, he never received it. I hope to make a second attempt to ask him about the series! The issue is that whether he can talk about certain things or not is unclear. Also, I don't want to be too straightforward since he's not a person that I'm familiar with. We'll see what happens. If I succeed, I'll quote your post again! :)
