Seems to happen often there. In 2021, another male, 25 years old, 2023 another male 21, & in 2016 a woman drowned trying to take a selfie then her cousin also drowned trying to save her, & an 11 year girl old also drowned that same year. That one was the only one that didn't say "while trying to take a selfie."
