She’s probably stroking out…and that cane is what we PTs call a high profile wide base quad cane, and I hated using those with patients because they can be can bit heavy and definitely awkward and cumbersome, now with low profile narrow based quad canes are more manageable, lighter to lift while still providing good support as long as you’re not waving it around like it’s a magic wand…
