The cyclist took that corner very wide, possibly road hogging. Not sure the law here but its just changed in the UK and fucking cyclists have more rights now and are supposed to ride in the middle of the lane, and they do taking great joy in the queue of traffic behind them as they refuse to pull over. Sweaty Lycra wearing mincers need to get a proper bike, one with an engine.

Just read the article. Over half of it is quotes from some drunk-on-power non-profit bureaucrat threatening truck drivers and carrying on about how everyone has to bend over backwards for "vulnerable road users." From the article: "He suggests anyone driving large vehicles on roads that cyclists frequent should look at getting additional mirrors and cameras to increase visibility, and if possible, they should be avoiding those high traffic areas during peak travel times."
Here's hoping that this douche and his bike go sliding under a tractor trailer as soon as possible.

The guy was 28. Died in the crosswalk. Which in Canada is called a unprotected crosswalk as no green or marked bike lanes exist.
Nuline company has " safety side shelds" to prevent this.
