16.06.2023, Dresden, Germany- Around 8.20 a.m., a 33-year-old man there is said to have threatened a woman (45), screamed and thrown furniture out of the window of a high-rise building. When he then tried to escape over the balcony, he fell about 30 meters into the depth.

As the police announced in the afternoon, he suffered the most serious injuries and died on the spot.

"Residents informed us that a man on the balcony on an upper floor is throwing pieces of furniture from a balcony," police spokesman Marko Laske (49) had already told TAG24 in the morning. "Apparently he had a woman in his power, and he also had a knife."

Therefore, the police immediately arrived by train for life-threatening operational situations (lebEL train). "At the sight of the emergency services, the man began to climb down from the balcony, came down some floors. Then he crashed," said the police spokesman. According to initial investigations, one does not assume a suicidal act.
