His fall was being broken by obstacles and it looks like he manages to grab onto something only to have air con hit him and dislodge him. That’s where it overtakes him. It seems his destiny wasn’t to survive. Imagine how you would feel if you managed to grab onto some window bars or something after falling 6 storeys to only to have the air con smack you off. That’s having a really really bad day.
