That's a hard want. Correct on the gore scene, which is not really enough, to stand alone. say like the girl in "Cannibal Holocaust". Now Romero's crew, those guys scared me ONCE! yeah, I told 'em about it too!!

Yea its one of the best recentish horror movies I've seen. Rosemarys Baby was probably the first horror movie that really scared me, most likely because I was like 9 and it was one of the first I remember watching, but also because of the occult aspect which was really well done
