Yakutsk is just about the coldest inhabited place in the world. I have it saved as one of my BBC weather locations. Throughout the winter it stays at -50C for months on end. Currently its fucking gorgeous, a regular + 25-30C and sunny.

Definitely intentional🤣 what’s real cool is that you can see the sudden stoppage of the main rotor system, causing the tail rotor drive shaft to twist until the whole t/r gearbox destroys itself. Even the smallest stoppage can be catastrophic for a rotor system.
