He was not an influencer. The news got this one so wrong. He was a very well known rock climbing professional who made a mistake after a long day of climbing. He didn’t even have social media let alone a following. He worked on fishing boats to earn a paycheck and he wasn’t even aware this climb was being filmed by a person with a telescope lens a half mile away.

You can’t believe everything you read in the news. A quick google search and you will see that he was not an influencer, not even remotely. The news got this one so wrong. He was well known and well respected in the rock climbing community for his disciplined approach to safety. He made a horrible calculation error after a long day of climbing.
