In all seriousness what saved his life was the fact that he tapped the power line with his elbow. He was about to GRAB it but couldn’t reach it. Had he grabbed it with his hands he would have been stuck there roasting. His tapping it with his elbow produced a powerful reaction but because he didn’t grab it , his muscles and phalanges were not constricted. Hence why he got zapped and quickly fell.
