Granted, that was wrong, but it was also wrong for them to get hit in the back...
Merging is not a science but some people just can't make it happen. The driver of the car got scared and folded at the worst possible time.
True, however the vehicle with the camera looks to be a 18 Wheeler that cannot stop that quick , it looks like they tried to though🙂😉

You're a moron. The truck driver was far enough behind and it was the idiot in the car stopping in a merge lane that caused the accident. Semi trucks don't stop like a regular car or truck can.

So then leave more space between you and the vehicle in front. But then truck drivers love to intimidate the the driver in front, especially females.

As far as I can tell by the camera, the car did not have a yield sign, therefore the merging truck likely had the yield sign and appeared to be yielding to the car. The car should have continued at it's present speed and overtook the merging truck. Car's fault. Not knowing the speed of the car and, if it is a truck with the dashcam, it's hard to determine if the dashcam vehicle was too close or not.

There was plenty of space. People with functional brains understand that you don't stop your car in a merging lane.
