Problem is the police have no respect or power in this country anymore, the criminals know their rights better than most, and unless you post something deemed “right wing” that offends someone on Facebook, then there’s no punishment,
Bring back the old prisons with proper screws, instead of 24/7 playing PlayStation or going to the gym, proper harsh sentences for crimes that inflict harm on others, and bobbies that have back up, and the courts on their side, all none british citizens deported after serving their sentences too

I'm in the US and I don't understand the significance of screws in a prison. Torture devices?
If these officers are not going to carry guns, they should at least be trained in hand-to-hand combat. This looked like a playground beating in an elementary school. It was really pathetic to watch.

So a prison used to have a box in a room with a handle and a screw on it, a prisoner would have to turn the handle so many times per hour, a guard would come in and check how many times he’d turned it, too many and the guard would tighten the screw to make the handle harder to turn, not enough and they would loosen it to make it easier to turn, hence why a guard is called a screw

Now I’m guessing the guy was a traveller, they are brought up on violence, the way they sort out their arguments is to have a fight, so they kinda have a advantage over the cop, who looks like a motorway cop (BMW not a local car)
