Bro the whole mess we are in is because our fledgling civilian leadership was largely powerless in the immediate aftermath of World War 2. Pakistan is a "created" state. It has no history apart from India. It is intrinsically tied to our own culture and civilisation but islamism which is basically arab imperialism offered it an opportunity to break away and the British supported this division for their own reasons. The subcontinent was always warring but it was never a India-Pak issue it's a civilizational issue about values and codes of conduct and even ideology. And naah we don't really care much about the land. Hell we don't really exploit the land we have for ourselves to the fullest. It's more about maintaining civilization here or as we call it Sanskriti.
