It's a clear case of murder. How do you put on trial this tree? I say: cut it down immediately. Use a stump- grinder and remove the stump out of the ground too. Scatter the wood chips over the ends of the earth. Build a park named after the girl. Do NOT plant this particular species of tree in said park. Hold a memorial ( complete with a teen girls choir ) EVERY YEAR on the exact date and time of this terrible death to commemorate this fine unblemished child who was so cruelly taken away by the evil tree. Take up offerings for the girl's family to help defray the cost of her burial. Post memorial pictures of her life in an exhibit in the park. Play her favorite songs over loudspeaker for good measure.
