I tend to think corporal punishment is not ALWAYS child abuse but, some people say it is. There's definitely been some times I witnessed a parent spanking their kids way, way too hard though in public too & I felt compelled to say something. 😤

Yep, it absolutely worked. And it really drove home how serious it was. You don’t put your siblings safety or well being in danger. One of the only times I got that level of discipline. I’m thankful for it.

I am not so sure that is a planned suicide. if it takes about 5 lbs of pressure for 10 seconds on the jugular to render someone unconscious, in which that kid was leaned forward for about 11 seconds and most probably had more than 5 lbs of pressure, it is possible he knocked himself out without realizing it.

If you put a rope around your neck and then step off the curb. And just hang there. You deserve anything that comes from it and hopefully The kid's parents were sent a bill for the emergency services. What a fucking stupid kid. I'm actually surprised he survived that long with that kind of stupidity.

Well I'm glad he beat the shit outta ya then, if only because you called it "discipline" just now but also, you'd feel pretty shitty if you accidentally hurt one of your siblings too. Even pro wrestlers that practice their moves repeatedly have accidentally injured someone with the controversial sleeper hold. Oh, & the subway guy who killed the vagrant but, got off the charges last year... didn't he accidentally kill him using that move too?
