Spanish reporter Isabela "Isa" Balado was the victim of sexual harassment in September 2023 while conducting a live broadcast in Madrid for the program "En boca de todos" on the Cuatro network.
A man approached her from behind, touched her butt, and was arrested by the police shortly afterward.

Balado was reporting on an attempted armed robbery in the Lavapiés neighborhood when a man appeared on camera, groped her, and asked her which channel she worked for.

The journalist confronted the man live on air. The show’s host, Nacho Abad, immediately intervened to support her and demanded that the assailant’s face be shown on camera.

The Madrid National Police arrested the man that same day on charges of sexual assault. Subsequently, the District Attorney's Office requested a restraining order.
